MARIA GABRIELA DE FARIA
“Mary” as she is best known to her many fans, is a stunning 19 year old Venezuelan actress and singer who catapulted to fame as Isabela “Isa” Pasquali in Nickelodeon’s hit series "Isa TKM”.
Across Latin America and the US Hispanic population, the Venezuelan teen telenovela, with its sold-out live tour, #1 CD’s, and Maria in the lead role, spawned legions of swarming, shrieking, adolescent fans: a phenomenon described even by the LA Times as “Isa-Mania”.
That she also happened to be dating her TV love interest in real-life, Reinaldo “Peche” Zavarce, thrust them both even further into the spotlight, and onto the covers of magazines worldwide. Her sense of style has landed her in a vast array of fashion publications and put her atop many Best Dressed lists. Her warm smile and seemingly charmed life have landed her on many “girl I’d most like to be” lists.
An ardent animal rescue and adoption supporter, the incredibly sweet-natured actress is currently taking a turn as the villain “Mia” in Nickelodeon’s other hit series, “Grachi” and touring with it’s live theatrical component “Grachi El Show En Viva!” throughout Latin America. She is working on her first solo record, due out Fall 2012.
