Singer, Songwriter, model and actress, this multi talented Latina has already captivated the world with her beauty and vibrant personality. Now Miredys is ready to make her long time dream a reality. She just signed with Mathew Knowles’ new label “Music World/Universal” and is currently working on her debut album. With the help of top producers like Rudy Perez she is working on an interesting mix of R&B, Pop and of course her Latin Sabor. An album that promises to bring all her emotions, experiences and incredible journey to life thru this fusion she calls Latin Soul.
The young beauty also known as M has collaborated with artists such as Foxy Brown in “I Need A Man”‚ and Loon in “Time After Time”. She has lent her voice for music in the upcoming film “Alpha Dog” starring Bruce Willis and Justin Timberlake and for LL Cool J’s new track “#1 Fan”, but the biggest highlight of her young career came when she was asked to co-write and record a special duet with Lionel Richie called “In My Dreams”, for his last album “Just For You”.
Her singing and songwriting skills always caught the attention of many music industry heavy-weights, such as well know producer David Foster, who gave Miredys her first opportunity as a backup singer for Toni Braxton, marking the beginning of an incredible journey for this young talent.
Even though her passion has always been music, she jump started her entertainment career as a model in her homeland Puerto Rico. After reaching a top model status she decided to participate in the most re-known beauty pageant in her country. There she won the title of Miss Puerto Rico and represented her country in the Miss Intercontinental 1999 Pageant in Germany where she was chosen 1st runner up.
While at the highest point of her career she made the courageous decision to move from her motherland to Los Angeles, California to finally pursue her dream. Miredys continued working as a model becoming a spokesperson for Pantene and landing numerous jobs including the role of Gold Member girl in Austin Powers 3. She also guest starred in several shows including UPN's sitcom “The Parkers” where she landed the recurring role of Amira. In this her acting debut she showed her incredible and undeniable appeal as an actress.
From her days as a model, being crowned Miss Puerto Rico, and tapping into Hollywood, Miredys has proven that she can achieve anything she puts her mind to.
