MUSIC GIANTS DESMOND CHILD AND RUDY PEREZ ANNOUNCE THE FIRST 5 INDUCTEES INTO THE LATIN SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME
WHAT: Historic announcement of the first 5 legendary songwriters to be inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, which seeks to pay tribute and honor the great Latin composers who have given the world so many timeless classics. Grammy award winner singer/songwriter Jon Secada and award winning Spanish singer/songwriter Natalia Jimenez will announce the names of the 5 inductees.

ABOUT LSHOF:
THE MISSION: To inspire, educate, foster, and nurture the new generations of song wordsmith so that they may continue to create music in Spanish that touches the soul, regardless of one’s language.
THE PROCESS: An Executive Committee composed of producers, composers, musicians and performers whose mandate were to select 24 iconic candidates from all regions of the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking worlds from which five inductees will then be honored at the inaugural induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the New World Center, Miami Beach, hosted by actor/comedian John Leguizamo.
