Gustavo Dudamel AND RUBEN BLADES JOIN MUSICAL FORCES TO INTERPRET "MAESTRA VIDA" ALONGSIDE THE SIMON BOLIVAR SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, AND FRANCO DE VITA WHO WRAPS UP HIS INTERNATIONAL TOUR,
The mega show is produced by Evenpro and will fuse together symphony, salsa and pop musicians, acrobatic aircraft, and countless surprises at La Carlota Air Base in Caracas on July 22.
Miami, Fla. (July 13, 2012) The renowned Latin American entertainment production company, Evenpro, is bringing together music icons Franco DeVita, Ruben Blades, the world's most precocious symphony director Gustavo Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra for the super event VIVA LA MUSICA to be held this July 22 at the Air Base La Carlota, in Caracas, Venezuela. The mega event is expected to draw more than 200,000 people and represents an unprecedented performance in the history of that country.
The once in a lifetime artistic event is also the official closing of the “Mira mas Alla” Franco DeVita’s tour, one of the most acclaimed and successful tours of the year. The artist will also perform the song he created for the Venezuelan National Soccer team which will be feature guest artists. The iconic Ruben Blades will interpret Maestra Vida's work alongside the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra and the Caribbean Latin Band, led by Gustavo Dudamel.
Gustavo Dudamel is regarded as the “rockstar” of the classical musical world and is the director of the Symphonic Orchestra of Los Angeles. The National Geographic magazine stated: "Gustavo Dudamel: The man who has rejuvenated classical music." In February 2012, the musical genius won a Grammy Award for the direction of the Brahms Symphony # 4 performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra .
This mega event with the gathering of such legendary talent, will be recorded and captured in an album and video, created with the objective to present a musical extravaganza, of the highest level, accessible to all the Venezuelans. This initiative is supported by the National Orchestra founded by José Antonio Abreu and also intends to disseminate educational and cultural values of Venezuela.
Viva La Musica, will feature spectacular air shows, showcase sports which will include paragliding, Icaros, paratroopers and aircraft coordinated by the Venezuelan Air Force and outstanding athletes in each of the specialized areas.
